Tellagent LLC, an ATM equipment and processing sales distributor, conducted the first teller-less transaction over Financial Service Centers Cooperative, Inc's (FSCC) Global Shared Branching Network via a kiosk.The transaction was made on the FAST™ (Financial Access Service Teller) kiosk, manufactured by Tidel and powered by Ensenta. The FAST™ unit is designed to provide a "branch location" for financial institutions without incurring the tremendous expense of brick and mortar and human tellers. The touch screen FAST™ unit automates most of the same functionality of a human teller such as: deposits & withdrawals by cash or check, review of check images for validity and "hold" period, print checking account history, transfer funds, complete membership and loan applications, print statements, order checks, calculate loan payments, make loan payments by check, cash or transfer and initiate change of address.
