Gift Nominated for Second Emmy for Program on Innovative Japanese Artist |
| |
New York, NY, August 7, 2008 - Youngworth Public Relations (YPR) a
premier New York City PR agency, announced today that its VP of
Broadcast and Streaming News, Jesse Gift, has been nominated for an
Emmy as editor of a visually compelling feature story on the Japanese
American artist and educator, Ruth Asawa.
The profile on Asawa aired as part of the Life & Times newsmagazine
on KCET-TV, the PBS station in Los Angeles in March 2007.
The profile focused on Asawa's unique looped wire sculptures, that she
owes, strangely enough, to lessons learned in design and animation
while detained at an American interment camp for Japanese Americans in
1942.
"With Jesse's commanding expertise in extracting compelling stories and
tapping the human element, it's not surprising that he's up for yet
another Emmy" said Jack Youngworth, Managing Partner, Youngworth Public
Relations. "We're excited for him and proud to have him lead our
broadcast and streaming news division."
Gift is an Emmy-winning editor and producer who for years worked on the
front lines helping tell modern history's biggest news stories at CBS,
NBC and ABC Network News. He served as a key player at NBC Network
News, including Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, The Today Show, MSNBC,
CNBC, and Dateline NBC, where he received the Prime Time Emmy Award for
Breaking News.
Gift began his career at ABC News and quickly became a key editor for
World News Tonight with Peter Jennings, and numerous other major ABC
Network News shows, including Good Morning America, 20/20, David
Brinkley, Prime Time Live, and Nightline. While at CBS Network News, he
served as an editor with the Evening News with Dan Rather, Connie Chung
News Magazine Show, and The CBS News Early Show.
In addition to his news background, Gift segment produced and edited
numerous stories from concept through broadcast for nationally
syndicated shows, The Insider, and the number one entertainment news
magazine on the air: Entertainment Tonight.
His television credits include an impressive body of work for a variety
of blue chip clients including Paramount, MTV, VH1, the BBC, Disney, J.
Walter Thompson, as well as CBS, NBC and ABC.

Memberville™: Credit Unions Tap into the Power of Social Networking |
| |
Montvale, NJ, June 3, 2008 - Paragon Federal Credit Union, in conjunction with
Youngworth Public Relations and Leverage Software, an industry leader
in social networking platforms, have announced that they will be
launching a national social networking site, Memberville™, which
provides businesses and corporations with a powerful platform to
connect with the general credit union membership, and vice versa.
“With more than 88.5 million credit union members in the US alone, the
credit union industry is uniquely positioned to capitalize on the
future of social media,” says Richard Rays, President and CEO, Paragon
Federal Credit Union.
The Memberville community will also
empower member business owners and corporate executives to learn from
industry experts, participate in on-line education programs, build
relationships, contribute and connect.
The community will feature a robust
suite of functionality that will include personal profile pages,
people-matching, blogs, chat, wikis, polling, RSS feeds, discussion
groups, file sharing, widgets, targeted advertising, and extensive
customer and community analytics. In addition, Memberville will include
on-line classes, webinars and other valuable content geared toward
enhancing the value of its business membership.
“Memberville will help the credit union industry engage and learn from
its single most important asset: members,” says Jack Youngworth,
President and CEO of Youngworth Public Relations. “Through an
innovative suite of online community products, Memberville can help
credit unions across the country empower its members to meet one
another, build relationships, share ideas, collaborate, provide
real-time product feedback, and tell the credit union industry exactly
what’s on their minds – twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.”
Leverage Software, an industry leading
provider of social networking platforms for a variety of clients,
including Microsoft, TimeWarner and The New York Times, will provide
the platform for the community. “Leverage’s platform will help ensure
that the community will keep up with the latest advances in social
media,” says Mike Walsh, President and CEO of Leverage Software.
Memberville is already generating interest from key industry experts.
According to Paul Gentile, President and CEO, New Jersey Credit Union
League (NJCUL), "Social networking is an increasingly popular form of
communication. Sites like MySpace and Facebook have hundreds of
thousands of members and help foster communication between people of
different backgrounds.” Gentile adds that a site that would do the same
for credit union members could create an even stronger grassroots
movement and 'people helping people' philosophy.
Participating credit unions will have
the ability to seamlessly integrate the community into their existing
website and customize the Memberville header with their credit union
logo as well as match the look and feel of their website.
In addition, all participating credit
unions will be supplied with a turn-key advertising and marketing kit,
equipped with various ad templates which may be customized with each
credit union’s logo.
“We are hoping that individual credit unions across the country will
participate in the promotion of the community through their own PR,
advertising and marketing efforts,” says Mike Puzycki, Director of
Marketing at Paragon Federal Credit Union. “By adopting one branded
community, the credit union industry can create powerful synergies
among its membership base, reinforce the credit union message, and
learn more about our members.”
The launch is scheduled for June 15,
2008. Any credit union that wishes to join the network, should contact
Warren Bachman, Director of Client Services, Youngworth Public
Relations, at 646-827-3466, Ext. 1177.
Leverage
Software is the leader in enterprise-class social networking and online
community solutions, powering communities for more than 150 companies
in the technology, media, consumer and services industries.
Youngworth Public Relations is a premier public relations agency, which
offers a variety of PR and marketing programs for the credit union
industry.
Paragon Federal
Credit Union is the third largest credit union in New Jersey with more
than 55,000 members and nearly $400 million in assets.

PHI Retains Fast Growing Public Relations Firm as Agency of Record for PR Counsel and Thought Leadership |
|
New
York, NY, February 18, 2008 – Youngworth Public Relations, a premier
public relations agency announced today that PHI, a non-profit
organization focused on the nearly 3 million long-term care direct-care
workforce has retained the firm for strategic public relations counsel,
media and influencer outreach. The agency will initially focus on a new
study conducted by PHI, which exposes the surprising lack of medical
coverage among the nation’s long-term care, direct-care workers and the
need for quick reform in order to tend to the aging baby boom

PHI,
Paraprofessional Healthcare Institute, based in New York City, works to
strengthen our nation’s long-term care, direct-care workforce, which
includes health aides, certified nurse aides, and personal care
attendants. PHI's program activities develop recruitment, training,

Paragon Federal Kicks-Off ParagonOne Bowl Classic Employee Incentive Program |
|
Montvale, NJ, February 2,
2008—The end of the college football season is marked with college bowl
games across the country. However, the most important bowl game for
employees of Paragon Federal will not take place on the football field
but in their offices across northern New Jersey. Paragon Federal Credit
Union is gearing up for its ParagonOne Bowl Classic, an employee
incentive program designed to boost morale, foster teamwork and help
launch Paragon’s newest product, the ParagonOne account.
The
ParagonOne Bowl Classic is the football module of The IncentiveLeague™,
which was developed by Youngworth Public Relations and has proven to be
a big winner for credit unions. The Incentive League is available in
baseball, soccer and football versions and the program can be
customized for specific product launches or for key products and
services.
“Employee incentive programs are a powerful tool that many corporations
are beginning to realize, but are reluctant to pursue because of the
labor intensive nature of managing an incentive program and tracking
results,” says John Zalarick, IncentiveLeague’s founder. “Our program
eliminates that hassle for them, and delivers all of the benefits of a
well-constructed motivational program, exceeding their investment many
times over in the way of new business and boosted morale.”
The IncentiveLeague employs a staff of motivational coaches that can
guide each organization through the whole process and utilizes a
proprietary web-based software program to help track results.
"A
company-wide incentive program is a great way to get employees familiar
with a new product, such as the ParagonOne account, which introduces
the concept of bundled or packaged services,” says Jack Youngworth,
Principal of Youngworth Communications, Inc. “Getting your employees
involved in the launch not only fosters teamwork, but enthusiasm
becomes contagious among new prospects, giving the launch an added
boost. Surprisingly, our programs require very little in the way of
monetary incentives.”
In the case of the ParagonOne Bowl, the total cash prize is
comparatively low at $5,000 for a 100 employee company-wide contest,
expected to yield roughly $5-10 million in new business. Youngworth
attributes this to the fact that money isn’t the only motivator to a
successful incentive program. “Our program is designed to foster
competition, public recognition of achievements and most importantly,
teamwork.” He adds that when you have a motivated group of employees,
it helps foster a positive brand experience. Richard Rays, President
and CEO of Paragon Federal Credit Union said that he decided to use
Youngworth’s IncentiveLeague™ as part of an overall effort to improve
quality of service and increase sales. He added that employees received
training on the rules of the game from Youngworth’s expert staff, prior
to the start of the game. "The program is quite formal and quite clear
in its incentives," Rays said. "And, we're able to track our progress."
Michael
Puzycki, AVP of Marketing for Paragon Federal, says that the highly
motivational contest works well because it sparks a spirit of
competition among employees of all levels. "The IncentiveLeague is
set-up in such a way that everyone has a stake. An interesting study in
human behavior, the contest has everything from the usual cash
incentives for individuals and teams to a subtle yet powerful dose of
peer pressure on team managers to keep their teams performing,"
explains Puzycki. "No team manager wants to finish in last place."
"Employees have fun, learn all about our products and services, improve
their cross-selling skills and it develops a culture of sales," said
Rays. Rays is confident that the ParagonOne Bowl Classic will address
several key issues including increasing member product/service usage,
reducing member attrition and strengthening member loyalty. Rays
continued, "This type of program is so important because it helps to
familiarize our employees with a new product and takes a rather
moderate or no-sales environment and turns it into a culture of sales,"
he said. "We tell employees that this is part of their responsibility
to see their company grow." With more than 62,000 members and assets
approaching $400 million, Paragon is the third largest credit union in
the state of New Jersey. The IncentiveLeague is a product of Youngworth
Public Relations., a premier New York City based public relations and
branding agency.

Youngworth Public Relations Launches Sports-Themed Employee Incentive Program
Paragon Federal Teams up with the IncentiveLeague™ to Generate Over $5.4 million in New Deposits and Loans |
|
Montvale, NJ, November 9, 2007--In stark contrast to both New York
baseball teams, whose seasons ended prematurely, Paragon Federal Credit
Union declared its annual IncentiveLeague™ Baseball program an
overwhelming success awarding $9,875 in employee prizes that resulted
in more than $5.4 million in new deposits and loans over a nine week
period.
The IncentiveLeague™, which was developed by Youngworth Public
Relations, has proven to be a big winner for credit unions, banks and
other financial institutions. The program, which includes strict rules,
guidelines and motivational tips on where to find business, is also
finding applications within other industries.
“Employee
incentive programs are a powerful tool that many corporations are
beginning to realize, but are reluctant to pursue because of the labor
intensive nature of managing an incentive program and tracking
results,” says John Zalarick, IncentiveLeague’s founder.
“Our
program eliminates that hassle for them, and delivers all of the
benefits of a well-constructed motivational program, exceeding their
investment many times over in the way of new business and boosted
morale.”
The
IncentiveLeague™ employs a staff of motivational coaches that can guide
each organization through the whole process and utilizes a proprietary
web-based software program that tracks results by distinguishing
between normally-generated sales volume and contest-related sales that
are the result of cross-selling efforts.
"From
a motivational standpoint, the concept of cross-pollinating a fantasy
sports league with an employee sales incentive program was so
successful, we sought a copyright for the program and developed a
variety of modules, including Hockey, Football, Soccer and Baseball,”
says Jack Youngworth, Principal of Youngworth Communications, Inc.
Richard
Rays, President and CEO of Paragon Federal Credit Union said that he
decided to use Youngworth’s IncentiveLeague™ as part of an overall
effort to improve quality of service and increase sales. He added that
employees received training on the rules of the game from Youngworth’s
expert staff, prior to the start of the game. "The program is quite
formal and quite clear in its incentives," Rays said. "And, we're able
to track our progress." Rays also noted that key products, such as
business checking accounts, for example, can be more heavily weighted
in the contest to encourage stronger sales efforts.
Mike
Puzycki, AVP of Marketing for Paragon Federal, said that the highly
motivational contest worked well because it sparked a spirit of
competition among employees of all levels. "The IncentiveLeague is
set-up in such a way so that everyone has a stake. An interesting study
in human behavior, the contest has everything from the usual cash
incentives for individuals and teams to a subtle yet powerful dose of
peer pressure on team managers to keep their teams performing,"
explains Puzycki. "No team manager wants to finish in last place."
"Employees
have fun, learn all about our products and services, improve their
cross-selling skills and it develops a culture of sales," said Rays.
"And, even more telling is the fact that we're up by 20 percent over
last year's contest results, which yielded more than $4.5 million."
Rays
continued, "This type of program is so important because it takes a
rather moderate or no-sales environment and turns it into a culture of
sales," he said. "We tell employees that this is part of their
responsibility to see their company grow."
With
more than 62,000 members and assets approaching $400 million, Paragon
is the third largest credit union in the state of New Jersey.
The
IncentiveLeague™, is a product of Youngworth Public Relations., a
premier New York City PR agency, which serves a variety of clients in
various sectors including nonprofit, financial, professional services,
travel and education. For more information on the IncentiveLeague™,
